Recently, the successful installation and commissioning of our company's IntelliCPCP® at Well Ji 2-15H, operated by the Zhongyuan Oilfield Branch Inner Mongolia Production Plant of Sinopec, marks another critical breakthrough for this innovative artificial lift technology in complex well environments.
01. Tackling Challenges: Innovative Technology Meets Extreme Conditions
Well Ji 2-15H, a horizontal well with a pump setting depth of 884.18 meters, presents a complex production environment. With a viscosity of 2,500 mPa·s at 50°C, rising to approximately 5,000 mPa·s during production, its classification falls within heavy oil recovery. Historically, production relied on a process combining CO₂ injection, viscosity reducers, and electric heating assistance with beam pumping units, sustaining a fluid production rate of merely 1 to 8 cubic meters per day.
Facing these challenges, the IntelliCPCP® system supplied by our company demonstrated exceptional technical adaptability, showcasing its unique advantages.
Furthermore, its innovative design significantly reduces rod-tubing eccentric wear in horizontal wells, optimizing horizontal well lifting efficiency. The streamlined and integrated drive mechanism enables more convenient and efficient routine maintenance. During the field installation, the company dispatched two technical specialists to provide comprehensive on-site guidance, ensuring smooth and timely commissioning of the equipment.

The IntelliCPCP® system employs a revolutionary conical stator-rotor geometric design and an intelligent regulation mechanism. It precisely controls the impact of running clearance on operational performance, fundamentally addressing core issues inherent to conventional PCPs, such as pump sticking and short service life.
