Revitalizing Low-Production Wells in Henan Oilfield

Objective
Increase production from low-permeability oil wells
It’s not that the formation lacks oil, but traditional pumping units often cause intermittent production, leading to a breakdown in liquid supply and resulting in low well production.
Secondly, to address three major issues:
Sand Sticking
Extend low-temperature production period of oil wells
Achieve integrated injection-production without moving the tubing
Results
By deploying the all-metal intelligent conical screw pump IntelliCPCP®, the oilfield production was significantly enhanced.
Since IntelliCPCP is a screw pump, it does not operate intermittently like a beam pump but rather continuously extracts oil, effectively alleviating the problem of formation liquid supply disruption. The gap adjustment can optimize volumetric efficiency, resulting in an average production increase of 1.01 million RMB per well during the two-year testing period.
All three issues were fully resolved after 3 months of deployment.
IntelliCPCP has an automatic sand-cleaning function, effectively addressing the problem of sand sticking. Additionally, IntelliCPCP's unique lifting device enables the steam injection process to be automatically sealed (remotely), increasing thermal efficiency and fully realizing integrated injection-production.

This equipment was deployed in the Henan Oilfield in August 2020, being among the earliest IntelliCPCP units to be put into service. Although the technology was not yet mature at the time, it already demonstrated exceptional value beyond expectations.
